Scott Estabrook Scott Estabrook was born on a cattle and horse ranch in south central South Dakota where he lives to this day. Carrying on a family
tradition generations old he became a horseman of great skill and dedication. He began riding at the age of 2 and started breaking
horses in professionally at age 8. His experience and education in the horse field comes not only from the vast resources offered to
him by his own family but also from lessons and clinics from top trainers in nearly every discipline of riding.
Scott has a true love and understanding of horses that amazes those who see him at work, or play as he calls it. But he is the first
to point out that there is nothing magical about understanding a horse. "A horse, every horse, is honest to a fault. A horse will
always tell you exactly what its concerns and fears are. He will always tell you if you are safe or in danger. He will gladly accept
you telling him he has done something wrong, as long as you also tell him what he's done right. It is the honesty that I love so much
about a horse."
Scott has many loves and talents. But for him there was never any doubt that the greatest love of his life would be the horse that he
rides, becomes one with. "I consider myself to be truly blessed. I have the chance not only to experience what riding has to offer,
but now also to share it with so many others. I have the opportunity to become part of the lives of so many wonderful horses. I work
with an incredible staff made of my family and my best friends. I meet wonderful horse enthusiasts everyday and share their
experiences. Heaven would be a perfect place if it were exactly like this." |
