08/29/06 No Haggle Pricing, Great deals, Easy Shopping The price you see is the price you pay for the horse listed on our web site. You don't have to worry about making offers and haggling over prices. And we have our prices marked down to move horses fast because we have way too many horses on the ranch. You won't find horses of this quality for these prices anywhere. And with the convenience of shopping from your home and having your horse delivered straight to your barn, you'll find a much better experience than the auction house, and much more convenient than traveling across the country to visit breeder after breeder to find the right horse. |

08/08/06 Carl Estabrook Passed On Carl Estabrook passed away on his 77th birthday after a long time battle with cancer. Carl will be remembered for many things especially his work in the Arabian, Thoroughbred, and Paint horse world. Carl was the founding member of two local saddle clubs and served as president of the board of those and a large regional saddle club. |

01/15/04 A Piece of Estabrook Ranch History Fabian was a super horse of his generation. Born in the late 1950s and owned by Estabrook Ranch Arabians throughout most of his life, Fabian personified the legend of the Egyptian Arabian horse. He also added all that was demanded by the American horse buyer at the time. He had the loyalty of the Egyptian Arabian horses that spent their nights in the tents of their Bedouin owners. He was trusted in the Carl Estabrook home. Though I wouldn't be born until he had been gone for over a decade I heard a never ending series of legends about the stallion that captured everyone’s eyes and the hearts of those close to him. He certainly captured my imagination. He also earned many championships in a wide variety of western performance events. He was shown by my Grandfather Carl at halter and western performance classes. He was shown in traditional Arabian classes by my aunts Krystal and Becky. And he competed in 100 mile or more endurance races by my aunt Mary. He was so fiercely competitive in endurance races that often if he and Mary showed up to a race other competitors would scratch. His offspring were trained by my father David and aunt Krystal won many championships as well. -Scott Estabrook Fabian in the trophy room of the Estabrook home. |

12/29/03 Customer Testimonial I would like to share a letter that we received from one of our customers: "We purchased a CI Ace Cash baby (2 year old) a couple of years ago from Estabrooks (Sonny Dee Lacosta). This year, as a 4 year old was his first year of showing and he won a year end all around buckle for a show series, APHA points in english eq and hunter under saddle, and ended up 4th in the nation in 4H Hunter Under Saddle in the APHA PAC program - we are very proud of him!" -Lynn Wilkison CO. 09/20/01 New Pictures of My Montana Ratchet View Pictures Montana Ratchet has always been a personal favorite of mine and his agility and lightness continue to absolutely amaze me. He has come so far in so short a time. I am plesantly surprised each time I ride him. He is so responsive to my seat today I dropped the reins and turned him on a dime using only a seat cue. I took some pictures of him today just so I could see myself on him. I hadn't intended to put them up because the lighting was so poor when I took them, but after seeing the pictures I wanted to post them. Please forgive the poor lighting. View Pictures |

08/28/01 Back from Trail Riding I'm back from trail riding in the mountains. I took My Montana Ratchet, Miss Poco Fair(sold), and Sonny's Special Kid, with me to the Black Hills this week. They all performed wonderfully. Especially Ratchet who could not be tired no matter how hard or long I pushed him up and down the steep rocky trails. |
|
08/21/01 Gone Trail Ridin' I will be trail riding for a couple of days in the beautiful Black Hills. Because of this I won't be able to answer any emails until I arrive back on the Ranch Wednesday night. |

07/25/01 Shipping to everywhere, all at once Lots of shipping going on this week. I'm shipping horses to several U.S. states and Canada all at once. I'm saying goodbye to several horses this week. It is always hard to part with one of my babies. Especially tough to say goodbye to Tuff Rock who will be leaving this week. He is without a doubt the most beautiful horse I've been privileged enough to own. I extend my congratulations and jealousy to his new owner. |

07/13/01 Hot Hot Hot! Dmk Max Judd let us see him sweat today. We took saddle pictures and video of him in near 100 degree temperature with 90% humidity. He was a very good sport about it. He gave his all in the heat first while we took still pictures of him. And then did it all over again and performed even better while we took video. He is always in such a good mood. The saddle blanket may take a few days to dry off. |

07/08/01 On The Waterfront Today we took pictures for our paint horse journal ad. The setting for the photo was a creek running through our ranch. Concertos Chance, Pv Whiskey Twist, and "Joose" the stick horse spent two hours in the water. They enjoyed it. Our photographer accidentally spent about 5 seconds completely under water. She didn't enjoy it. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. But in the end we ended up with a pretty good ad. Watch for it in the September paint horse journal. |
